History

Core Solutions (CORE) was founded with the simple goal of building solutions that streamline product development and supply chain processes both within retailers and between retailers and suppliers. Today, with clients in North America, Europe, Australia and Asia, CORE offers a comprehensive and sophisticated set of solutions and services that add value across each link of the global supply chain.

1995

 CORE is founded in Hong Kong as an enterprise software and services company focused on developing custom ERP, Logistics, and EDI systems.

1997

 CORE is engaged by EDS and other major clients to develop a B2B workflow solution for global supply chain management.

1998

 Establishes Software division and begins development of a global supply chain collaboration solution (early version of the CBX On-Demand Suite).

2000

 Launches early form of WebEDI, with Standard Chartered Bank and Tradelink Electronic Commerce joining as key partners.

2002

 Development begins on CBX Enterprise software platform, for trading companies. First release includes Sourcing, Global Order Management, Logistics, and Supplier Management.

2004

 Version 2 of CBX Enterprise is released, with the addition of a Quality and Compliance Management module.

2006

 Relaunch of CBX On-Demand, with enhanced vendor workflow, packing, carton labeling, and ASN automation functionalities.

2007

 CBX Enterprise version 3 is released, with the addition of product lifecycle management (PLM) and critical path management (CPM) functionalities.

2008

 Carrefour becomes a major CBX On-Demand client, with Core facilitating nearly half a million supplier orders every month.

2009

 Development begins on CBX Supply Chain Finance, a multi-way PO, shipment and invoice reconciliation/workflow system which eliminates invoice disputes between retailers and suppliers.

2011

 Today, structured into three primary business units – CBX Enterprise Software, CBX On-Demand and Professional Services – CORE is an award winning provider of intergrated software solutions which manage product development, sourcing, global ordering, quality and supply chain collaboration.
